Default Spec Page for Different Years

Hey everyone,I'm actually looking at a slightly used CTS-V.
I'm just curious on the different years and the differences between them.
I tried finding a site with the different specs but I had no luck.
I have had an 03 E39 M5 in the past and loved the car,but just got tired of it.
I figured this would be a good option for me.
thanks

Upgrades for the 2006-2007 CTS-V:

LS2 engine (364ci vs the LS6 which is 346ci)
Stereo controls on the steering wheel
Upgraded rear differential (still need aftermarket axles to get rid of wheel hop)
XM Traffic available
GM badge (chicklet)
Taller strut tower brace
Black colored Cadillac center caps on wheels
Red V is called Infared
Thunder Gray is available in 2007

I think that about does it...i'm sure someone will mention anything I missed.

that is correct. HP and TQ are the same. Some will say you get a smooth power band out of the LS2 but I cannot speak from experience.

Ok sounds good.
Are any of the years supercharged? Or do they just sell the blowers aftermarket?

2004-2007 have the same power rating and are not supercharged.

09+ were supercharged, depending on how new and how much $$$ you were looking for

Some dealerships(stealerships) would put the supercharger on.
It was an $11,000.00 option and you could also get the 100k mi. Cadillac certified warranty.
Very rare. Most of us with maggies did not have the dealer put them on, but there are a couple of them floating around out there.
Magnuson will supply a 36k mile warranty for an extra $200 through there approved dealers listed on their website.
'06 & '07 have digital OnStar and the rear has larger diameter axles.
'07 has 100k powertrain warranty.
'07 has 22mm oil filter. Previous years use 13/16"
All the differential cases are inherently weak on the right front side of the case where the least amount of webbing is.

...'07 has 22mm oil filter. Previous years use 13/16"...
Interesting, so is this the thread (major diameter) size, or the orifice opening of the nipple, so to speak? Also, aren't all LS' engines metric [fasteners]? I didn't realize this was different, so I guess I better be sure I get the correct filter, if this is true. Also, mine is an early '07, built in May 06, iirc...does it still apply? [gonna measure it next time though, just to be sure]. I could swear it used the same p/n as my GTO (LS2) though.

Yup, I already have been down this road. It is the thread size. Pissed me off because there are more filter option with the 13/16". There is only one little '****-ant' filter for our cars. I wish someone made one a little bigger/longer . . . we are screwed.
Oh, my car is an '07 and was made in June of '06.
If yours is different . . . that would be wierd.

Wow, now you have me curious. Although it is possible the GTO (LS2) came with the bigger one, as I swear the p/n I picked up for the CTS was the same as the one I used on the GTO. Perhaps mine is the 'older' one though...I am surprised on how early my car was built and still being an 07, although it is possible it's an 06/06 build (need to look again now); I do know the car was 1st sold July 06.

That is kind of a scary thought and could be really frustrating when you have your oil drained and filter off, then learn this difference! I thought only the japanese changed things like this midyear, lol.

The good side is 22 mm is nearly a 1/16" bigger (~.05"), so maybe that's a good thing, provided the internal hole is enlarged, as well. Weird though.
