Default Cat-Less Kooks 1 7/8 LT's on their way!!!

Well I finally did it after dragging my feet for a whole year lol. I called up Cliff Paschal today and pulled the trigger on some 1 7/8 LT's with cat-less connectors. Great guy to work with BTW and unbeatable pricing.

Now, I need to get some motor mounts as they're easier to do when pulling the headers off. I'll throw up the kooks, MM's, my Over-driven pulley and larger injectors then dyno tune.

Any guesses at what I'll be making? I am currently making 487rwph (mods in my sig). A cookie if anyone guesses it right

My guess is you'll make 519rwhp. I seem to have hit a brick wall at 495. I did the same mods, 10% over crank, and longtube 1 7/8 no cats. Picked up 36hp. Good luck and keep us up to date!!!!

PS with no cats, my **** will shoot flames out the exaust when i lift after a 4th ot 5th gear pull at night!!!! hehe

I'm hoping the E85 will be the difference that will propel me up over 520rwph.
Damn, do you have a sound clip of yours? I bet it's LOUD!

Speaking of loud, what kind of mufflers should I get? I've been leaning towards the Hooker Aero Chambers. I want something to quiet it down. I had my test pipes in for a few hours and it sounded like garbage so I'll need something to tone it down.

I'll need some tips too!

very interested in results, i'm not e85 as there are few stations here in the sunshine state, but i have catted 1 3/4 and am contemplating hard on going 1 7/8 no cats. I don't think I will see a gain to justify the $$ especially without an upgrade like the pulley at the same time, but still interested. 500 is a hard # to exceed with these Vs!

I made 487rwph on the stock maggie injectors (42#'ers) but was at 100% duty cycle on them. I will be putting the 60#ers for the next dyno run.

ea i see you leaving maybe 5-8rwhp on the table with the 1 3/4, hardly worth the time and money to swap them out even though youll recoop 80% of what you paid for the 1 3/4.
