I wonder if the brake lights come on when stability control or traction control come on. I find 12.85@110 VERY hard to believe in stock form.

The brake lights on my buddy's Camaro come on when the stability control kicks on.

There is no way a stock V will run 12.85 without drag radials. If the diff doesn't explode the first time, what are the chances of it making it through another launch. Plus I don't think a stock V will hit 110 mph trap speed.

First off this was my first time at the track so I am a complete noob! I'm sure the car is capable of better times but with a driver mod and a Geforce 9" rear. I was wheel hopping like a mother and couldn't get any traction at all!

This time was against a blown Mustang that the guy was ******* the heck out of. He ended up taking home the trophy for fastest street driven car that night so it was cool to run against him. I don't think I will ever be returning to the track but I have to say it was an experience and I can see how people become addicted to improving their times.

Sorry to hear you don't think you'll return to the track!

Why, because if you could match the 60' time of the Stang I think it would be a " door handle to door handle" race with an excellent chance you could take him, especially if you could cut a half decent light.

I would encourage you to reconsider and spank the Stang ! Think about how satisfying that would be.

Haha yeah It would be cool but broken differentials and trailer rides home are not! This V is a highway machine only from now on.

(few pounds out of the rear tires) If you should go again, when the second yellow goes out....Go. I think you'd walk him on the freeway.

Yeah my buddy in his C5 was letting pressure out of his but I wasn't too worried about it.

3 of 4 diff and stock axles. I don't ever burn out though and I have all CS bushings/mounts which I think helps a bunch. (Everything is tight)

Very nice numbers from your 122. Still undecided what I'm going to do next year.

Thanks. Grab your self a TVS and some LS3 heads to match! GTO guys are running the heck out of them with great results.

Get some GForce axles on there along with some good bushings (cradle and diff) and the launching becomes a lot easier. Before, on my V1, I was seeing 2.4 60 foot times with hoppity, hop action. Following the updates, I could launch nicely with 2.0/2.1 60 foots on street tires. I was doing about 8.6 second 87 MPH 1/8 mile runs which were decent for a CAI and cat back on an 05. That would be about a 13.1 at 109 or so in the quarter. Makes a world of difference. Best before the changes was 13.5 at 107(8.9/85 MPH in 1/8th)
