So now it wants to have issues
I put my car for sale and ofcourse what can go wrong has.
now it says low oil pressure stop engine.
i checked the oil it is full and all seems to look good.
no metal in it from what i can see
does this mean the oil pump isnt working or is there other
common issues to look at
any help would be awsome
thanks

Most likely just a bad sending unit if there are no odd engine noises. If you had zero oil pressure the engine would sound pretty bad. The sending unit is known to fail early on the V for some odd reason.

I accidentally forgot to fill my oil after draining it last time. I started the car and got back out and didn't notice the idiot lights and nav screen warnings blazing all over the place. I turned the car off about 20 seconds after I started it. It didn't sound any different than it normally does.
After I filled it back up and started it, the oil pressure didn't return immediately and I got the warning lights again. I turned it off and tried again a minute later and the oil pressure came right back up to normal.
I don't think it did any damage to the motor since the oil pressure now is the same as it always has been and the car was only idling in neutral. It doesn't make any new noises and the oil didn't have any shiny stuff in it.
If the sender is good, you probably need to check the pickup for o-ring breaks. On most cars, there is an o-ring between the pump and the pan pickup and if it breaks, the pump will just suck air.

Get it looked at asap. Mine did the same thing, no noise from the motor, like an idiot I drove it for a while cause " no motor noise nothing wrong" and turned out to be a seized lifter. Luckily I bought a warranty when I purchased the car cause I couldn't afford to drop 6500 on a reman at the time.

it really sounds like there is no oil in the top end of the motor i
thinking it is the OIL pump witch sucks because these cars dont have
