Hey guys, just picked up a 2004 V for $15.5k. I thought I'd post a few pictures after a little cleaning...

NO DOUBT on the price drops...I should have waited another year to buy mine.. But as they say, hindsight is 20/20

I hear you on that. My car only has 33K miles. I would not let it go for less than 19 due to the condition either. I dont see myself selling it anytime soon though. The price drop within the past few months is crazy. 03 Cobras sold for 35K and still get around 20K or more for 35K and less miles depending on mods. Cars under 10k mile depending on color sell for well over 25-28K ie Comp Orange, Mystichrome. The V1 sold for 55k and are not even worth 20K anymore. Talk about depreciation. I bought my 03 Cobra, kept it for a year and a half and made 1500 on it.

Thanks guys! The car is in great shape. Has 70k miles. As for the air freshener....I had to get rid of the awful vanilla smell that was in it before!

Nice deal! I just picked up an 04 black on black with CAI, Exh and 06 rear diff with 92k on it for $15k.
Looks like there are going to be more and more newbs around here with these killer prices on such a sweet car. I've been holding out for 3-4 years for the price to come down. Now they are selling well below book value.

Lets all just pray the V2s drop in price like the first gens, i dont know what more i could ask for out of the V2 if a 3rd version comes out.

Anybody seen what Fbodies sell for? sold new loaded for low to mid 20s and with 50k miles still go for 12k bucks in good shape.

The Deville's are even worse on holding value. Think about it like this; typically the middle to late aged people buy Cadillacs and they buy them new. What kind of people "typically" buy used Cadillacs?
I know in 07, when I bought an 04 CTS v6 Vogue package with a 5 speed and 11k miles for $19k, I could have bought an equivalent DTS for the same price.

Yeah as another data point I got my stealth gray 05 on July 31 this year for $15,400 with 97k on it. It even had CPO left until 100k (which I took advantage of). 102k now, though!
