Default Picked up a V

I got myself a V a few days ago and so far i love the car.
i sold my 11 sec silverado for this car.
im looking forward to making this one a little faster.
here are a few pics of it.
also im not a huge fan of the wheels but if someone has a set of factory wheels powder coated black i might be willing to trade..

Hmmm maybe a trade on my stockers and I pay the difference to get them powdercoated? Mine have some curb rash that would need to be grinded down too.

your wheels are stock...as in FYI...they are the GM Accessory wheels that were a dealer installed option for the V. and these wheels from a Caddy dealer are in around 1500 for a set...just something to keep in mind if you trade them...

How much are the oem stock wheels though, if you were to buy them (for reference in 'value'). I wouldn't mind if mine came with the accessory wheels though, but yeah they ream you on the price! I think they look nice and would be a tough choice which ones I'd prefer.

Otherwise, congrats on the purchase and just do your homework on 'mods' for these. They respond well, but are hard to get them into seriously fast (drag racing) times and IMO there are better platforms in that regard. However, they handle really well, have great brakes and get pretty good mileage. So, all around, they make a nice perfomance car and don't think most average people on the street really know what they really are or are capable of, so that is nice (for me). Not into the 'look at me' loud and obnoxious anymore

i knew they were gm wheels.
i have looked around and i like the 7 spoke wheels black a little better than these chrome ones.
im going for an all black look.

thanks for all the kind words.

has anyone ever found out a "cheap" easy fix for the rear end?
that really seems the weak spot in these cars.

I don't blame you a bit for wanting the stock wheels vs those accessory wheels. Every body has their own taste and that's why there is more than one option but IMO I like the look of the stockers painted or powdercoated.....And good luck with a "cheap" fix for the rear...You ask 100 people on here and you'll get 150 different answers.

If you're looking for a nice set of 'factory' styled wheels, check out the STS-V 10 spoke wheels. I think they look incredible on the cts-v.

Why don't you sandblast and powdercoat the accessory wheels? I think that would look sweet.
