Was getting gas when I noticed a beige bentley parked up front of the 7/11.. I remember thinking" wow, its a bentley" and then thinking to my self how plain jane it looked in that color.. well the guy comes out with a 12 pack of genuess right as I was getting done(half tank)... I'm not sure what model it was as it didn't have anything that said what it was on it but we both ended up at a light at the same time but I was behind him.. light turns green and we start driving for about 1/2 mile until traffic lightened up a bit.. I desided to see if he was game for playing so I started to speed up. I was in 3rd gear at 50mph when I drove past him and he took the bait.. I jumps behind me to get past the car that was in front of him and quickly jumps into the lane next to me once he got past the other car... we drove like this for about a mile just blipping the throttle at eachother. Then he did something really weird! He thru his hazards on and punched it pulling a 1/2 car on me(me now being in 3rd at 55mph so still a dead spot but not to bad) I quickly punched it stopping his pull and jumped about a car on him when all of a sudden he slows way down and doesn't try to play with me anymore... I'm confused as to what the hell happened! I thought those things should have killed me? No? Yes? And what the hell was up with him throwing on his hazards and punching it as if he was gonna do an easy walk away from me? To be honest I thought he was going to do an easy walk away from me but was very surprised at the outcome... sorry for the babbling but that's the 1st race I've has since playing around with Coles car and those fricken 500+hp race cars that made me feel like I was in a corola...

Sounds like a car guy who acknowledged the fact that you wanted to play, and appreciated having some fun too, but wasn't ready to go *****-out and risk a crash or ticket. Nor did he actually care who would win in a race.
Most likely it wasn't the time or the place(for him). Maybe next time...

Hahaha... my bad. My phones supposed to fix it but I just updated to the 2.1 so it sucks again til I can fix it.. On another note the Bentley had a very deep rumble to it and at one point I thought it was camed too...

Ya it could have been anything. I cant really say as we didn't talk but man did that paint color suck on his ride! Lol if its a Bentley then it needs to be black in my book...

When I still had my '01 TA I ran a Continental GT(the sporty two door one) on 495 outside of D.C. We ran from 70 to about 140 and it was a dead even run. It started by him doing a slingshot around me so he was in front of me by about a car by the time I got into it. I was able to close even by 110 and it was side by side until we started coming up on traffic(disclaimer: it was around 1 a.m. and when I mean traffic, I mean like five cars in a group). The moral of this story is that my automatic TA with no mods at the time other than a SLP lid, and two passengers inside, ran dead even with a 551BHP twin turbo W12 car that costs well over $100k. Weight is a killer in those cars. I think they are somewhere around 5200lbs.

I ran into a Continental Flying Spur one night shortly after I bought my V but he didn't want to play.

FWIW, which probably isn't much as it's apples to oranges, I ran a MB C63 at Atco once. This car had 4 doors and B-I-G. Also had the V12 Twin Turbo engine making 600+hp, Black, Beautiful car. Coolest part was the only non-stock thing I noticed was a set of Drag Radials out back on the stock wheels. This guy was a car guy - Real cool to talk to.

Anyway, no doubt it was a heavy car - 12.00 @ 120.

Pretty sure the Bentley's run MB engines as well? Or BMW motors?

I work with 3 bentley's everyday, we have a gt, a gtc, and a flying spur... now even though the W12 twin turbo makes big power, the 2 door cars are pushing almost 5klbs! Plus the awd system, I've never had my v run against one, but I'm sure from a roll it would be close..

I ran a 2005? Flying Spur, had Maggie with stock LS6, we were at 70mph and I pushed it to the end of 4th gear, and he kept up, they are no slouch from a roll, young dude, he was cool and to this day only guy I have ever seen who smoked in one of them nice cars; the 4-door weighs in at about 5,500 lbs, so be impressed.
The 2-door GT is much faster from a dig, it will run very high 12s.
The new GT has 567HP/516TQ, the Supersports ($267K) model has 621HP, Dragtimes says MT got a 12.1@114mph.
They are nice, but for the same money as the Supersports, you can buy a $150K house, a new V2 and year-old C6Z,,,

You ran into a MB C63 with a TT V12? Was is a Barabus transplant? Only asking because the C63 was never made with a V12 TT.

Did you mean you ran a S65 or S600?

The only Brabus that have the V12s are the MBs that came with V12 from MB or AMG.

If is was the C63 and E63 AMG, is have the 6.2L V8 with 451 or 480 hp depending on the package. the S63 AMG came with a 5.5L S/C V8 with 535hp/590tq.

like Whisler said the S65 has the which is the big AMG came with the 6.2L V12 Biturbo. Which produces 612hp and 740 tq, and curb weight of nearly 5000 pounds...and about a $250,000 price tag...

Ya I've been looking at the 06+ S600's lately with the V12 biturbos... cheap cars on the resale too! I found one with 31,000 miles for around $35,000 which is really low for what they are... though I like the performance I still think I may go with the V2 as the car just looks 10X better then the S600 in my opinion.

Had to be one of those then? I'm certainly no MB expert. I did walk around the car and there were no badges that said AMG or Barabus.

I know it was Big, Long, Black, and had a TTV12 as he had the hood up.

Beautiful car, though not necessarily my kind of car.

It is a well known fact that there is no such thing as a good, cheap, used luxury car. You are going to be paying through the nose somewhere lol.
