As much as I love the car and appreciate the build and time put into this car. I have not seen a respectable 1/4 number from this or any V yet. I believe he has gone 11.60s @ 140+ or something. But he hasnt pushed it yet i dont think.

Its got a madman 9 inch rear end, you can barely see it at the end of the vid. The best i've done at the 1/4 is a 12 flat on bald street tires. It's hard to hook up the car I couldn't get the 60' below 2.0 and i was all over the track on every shift. These cars are very heavy making it hard to overcome the initial inertia. Even if i roll it out as soon as the boost comes in it spins the tires. It gets scary and dangerous when doing highway speeds at the top of 3rd and the boost hits and it breaks the tires loose very violently. Soon i will be tubing the rear to run a 345 MT DR.

The V is really only 100lbs heavier then 03 cobras. You cant throw a set of slicks on your current setup and get it to go faster. 800rwhp in a 3900lb car should easily go 10s with a built setup.

You are using an older larger dia F1 head unit, not the F1-A correct?

My V weighs 3900 lbs, my cobra is around 3650lbs. If I ever put a procharger on my V, I would probably burn it to the ground. Those cool noises get old real fast. Prochargers are horribly annoying in any normal driving.

I bet...reminds me of the sound when gear drives were the hot thing in early-mid 90's. I mean, it's cool, but gets old (the sound) after awhile, normal driving. However, if you are able to drive it sparingly, then they are a blast to hear Obviously just comparing gear drives to centri's in the noise dept.; a Procharged engine would be a blast and make up for hearing the whine when you get on it vs. just the bark in that way.

You can get Helical Gearsets for the D1-SC and a few others... rids the gear noise....

The V is probably the most horrible ride quality, and noise reduction I have ever experienced in a Luxury car. It is literally a 4 door Vette in many ways. Going from my S4 to this was a shock. The first few days I was blinded by my occurred obsession for the car, now I am no longer. I still love it but the ride quality for what it is, sucks. The thing is loud, Clunky.. Not what you would expect in a 50k-60k car. Getting out of my girls IS250 and stepping into my V is like sliding down a cliff in a sled while listening to heavy metal.

Too bad the IS250 would get smoked by a V.

I think the ride quality is stellar. Maybe you are doing it wrong. lolz

Holy Re-birth of a 8 month old thread Batman! LOL!
To truly appreciate this car, you have to hear & see it in person. It is a beast! AND I STILL WANT A RIDE MAN! Next Month C&C maybe?
