Coming Soon to a Drag Strip Near You...
D3 Cadillac in California is at it again. they coming out with a new package for the V2s. Similar to the V1 Competition Package (This Tread).
it is called the Ultracharger, and will produce a claimed 1,200 hp at the fly wheel.
1200 HP Ultracharger Teaser
these guys seem to be sent to us by the Cadillac gods...or they are the Cadillac Gods.

IDK, i hope they do it and show us and not let it just fizzle in the wind.... KPE was supposed to do a 1000hp car too, but we never heard anything about it....
I'll be surprised if it ever leaves the dyno...

Agree with you 100% Dom.
Imagine if they came out with a relatively affordable way to put a nice 2.3 liter or bigger twin screw on these cars......they'd sell tons of them. Unfortunately, like you, I suspect it's a one off project or will be prohibitively expensive (at least for me).

I was thinking more along the lines of something that would be a real upgrade, like a 2.8H Kenne-Belle or 2.9 Whipple.

Dom, you are more then likely going to be right. Most of there great cars they do turn out to be one car projects. i think this is because they are crazy expensive. but then again, a their CTS-V(1) Comp package give you a road going 4 door race car. that V1 did a lap at Fontana (renamed Autoclub Speedway) in under 2 minutes, which is pretty damn fast. if i had the money to do it, i might pay them to build me one.
...but then again, if i had that kind of money to just blow, i would be driving a Lambo...haha
here is the track that they test their cars. they use the "Sports Car course".
