In all fairness, you can get one slightly used for low 50's, which is what I did. I even saw one today with ~27k miles for for $41,600. It doesn't have the Recaro seats, but still a great deal.

True, and the way I'd go...don't mean to make it sound like it's terribly expensive, just would be hard to convince the wife of such modifications onto an expensive car (as in why didn't it already come that way, ha ha).

Regardless, GM did an oustanding job on the V and hopefully they'll continue to go down that path...

pulleu+tune+airbox+exchanger= 11's.

You could easily keep that under wraps.

My NEXT car I was gonna buy after I buy a house(a long way off for the car) I was gonna buy a C6 something...now,..it will be a V. 6 speed

-pulley-tune-airbox-exchanger is as stock as i could imagine, so i guess Mike has some pretty good driving skills... and with a vague response like that, who knows.

ah...lol,...then I do know who Mike is,..lol talked to him about a customers axles. Cool. It's all about good air,..driver-track. I have another V at the track tonight, making more torque then LiTiGATORs car, and it's going slower down the track. Not as cool tonight, plus, possibly more importantly, he hasn't been to the track in over 20 years. But,..he called me a few minutes ago, and I can tell you, he's having the time of his life in that 4 door.

He's not getting on it till the 60ft really. He's having a blast,... which is all that matters to me. He wanted me to go but, I wanted to put in work on my vette.

yeah sorry bout that...

Details kind of help eh? lol.

I agree it's all about so many things, you are correct though with a pulley and tune pretty much anyone can run these in 11's all the time!

Glad your customer is having fun, that's all that matters. I have been to the track 2 times, 1 each in both my cars and even though I'm not very good, I freaking have a blast running, watching etc.
