Default Has anybody seen/bought these?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/03-07...item336845d5cf

Does anybody know anything about these? I notice everyone on here for the most part has either smoked their fogs or modified them using clear lexan. Are these a scam or something? Hell the price seems pretty good and they come with the correct ducts as well as actually show them on a car. All it looks like is they got some STS-V fogs, mated them to the CTS-V ducts, and offered them for sale. I'm just wondering why nobody else has bought these. I understand most people aren't willing to drop $300 just to get rid of some amber lenses but I figured there would be at least one or two who have bought these. I happen to be in need of new fogs since mine are heavily sand damaged and one of my ducts has a crack in it. I just dont want to get caught in a scam.

Cool

Here's the catalogue parts with some of those pieces being shown:

http://www.depo.com.tw/asp/pdf/P_CD_C-TS_C-TS-V.pdf

Do a google search for "Depo fog lamps" and a lot of people are using them. Seems like most with good results?

Doesn't look like a scam. The person has detailed, close-up pictures of the same pieces that are for sale. Depois a brand I have personally delivered to a lot of peoples houses... I see their boxes all the time.

There's a nice long thread about them over on cadillacforums.com.

They are not a scam, nor are they rebadged STS-V fogs. (Not sure how they would hope to make money off that deal, since the OEM fogs are significantly more expensive.) Having done both the clear Lexan route and the Ebay clear fogs route, I'm much happier with the latter.

I'm skeptical at best on ebay parts these days (last few years), but if people have tried them and they seem to have decent quality they may be alright to try out. I personally wouldn't buy something like that, but have had good luck on other parts I've bought off ebay. However, you really need to research and ask around and it's good you're doing that.

Thanks for the feedback. I rarely go on the other forum(AFSCTSV on there) because for some reason it is always painfully slow to load. That coupled with slow internet here in Kuwait(where I'm stuck for a couple more months) makes it nearly impossible to load the page. It's a shame too since I'm absolutely obsessive about my car and want to know everything about it as well as all of the aftermarket options for it. Well when the time comes I guess I'll go ahead and pick some up.
