Thinking of pulling the trigger on an 09+ cts v
There's two in my area right at 45/46k. 09s
First I'm wondering what the standard options are…seems the come fairly loaded but I'd like to confirm with others.
This one i think has it all but lmk…I have test drove it
White pearl 29k miles (1k extra from factory right?)
recaro seats heated n cooled
Remote start
40gig nav system
5.1 audio
Sunroof
Black 21k miles
From what I know from photos
Standard seats not sure if heated
Nav
Both are a 400$ difference so please help a newbie out also whats the factory warranty on these 3/36 bumper to bumper?
5/100k powertrain?
Thanks help a noobie out

Not sure what your really wanting to know.
Options on the v are:
Polished or non polished wheels
Recaro with heated and cooled seats or standard seats.
Auto or manual
Wood or CF interior trim
Nav or no nav (09 only)
Ultraview or no ultraview
Alantra steering wheel or not
Exterior color
interior color
That's about it. They come pretty loaded from GM.
My only deal breakers on my car was it HAD to have recaro. I really didn't care about anythine else, but cooled seats are a must in Houston. Some people bitch about the recaro's, you either love em or hate em. Just go drive a car and look for what you want.

I have had a 09 and currently have a 11. They both have ran in the 10.8x and driven everyday. Both have recaro's and I couldn't have one without the seats. Get one and you will love it.

I agree...I wouldn't even consider the V without the 4grand option seats and sunroof....i thought they all came with nav....?? the white one is the much better option.....good luck

Well, also depends on past ownership and true condition...I mean, it's probably not an issue, but if the white one had 3 owners or just was beaten on, I don't care what options it had, if comparing to another that was original owner, had the original paperwork and maintenance records, not abused and in pristine condition. Not saying this is the case, but I often wonder where and why dealers ask a certain amount for a 'fully loaded', more desirable car that is about the same for a similar car with less ($$) options...Just always be wary and especially with dealers is all I'm saying
btw - has GM changed anything from 09-12 on these? I'm surprised they have stayed relatively the same so far...I normally would never buy a 1st year redesign or model, although technically the V2 is 2nd year of CTS in that gen, so may not be so bad...Personally, I'd go for a '10 (unless other years had something worth getting), but if the right deal came on a good '09, I wouldn't look past it, either...
Good these things are finally coming down and almost where they should be (30's) for a 3 year old car...Not sure if I'll ever pursue one though, but they are neat cars and would be a good deal at that price...to me, $40k is pushing it (to be worth spending that $$ on a car) and brand new at $70k+ is just ridiculous and especially considering the **** poor depreciation of GM's (unless you keep it for several years). TTL and GG "fees" alone are probably $9k pissed out to the wind there

I'm in the same boat man... been looking for a few months trying to find a low mileage 09-2010 sedan that is silver, gray, or white with black interior and recaro seats. Ohh and I want a manual. They are super tough to find. No luck so far.
The one you found looks pretty good. Good luck with your search!

Being a Montana resident and in the military has saved me so much on cars over the last four years. No sales tax and no tax for registration amounts to about $30 for a new registration and $10 each year after that.

I believe it's more or less like this (not counting paint changes):
'09
- new car
- mid model year rainsense wipers became unavailable
'10
- nav became standard
- sueded **** and wheel became a single option vs individual
'11
- backup camera standard
- coupe and wagon added
- black wheels, yellow brakes available
'12
- rainsense wipers added

Thanks for the info on the changes...doesn't look like anything to "have to" get the newer model for then, as far as spending more (other than less miles, etc.)...
I do like the V2's, but it would be a long time until I considered one, as cars are such a loser investment ($)...Just glad I didn't buy this V new ($ wise)!
