I love how loud the B&B is and I can stand to not be in 6th @ 65 on the highway..."Sir I was driving around my drone @ 90, sorry".

Exactly. Run it in a different gear.
B&B makes some little cones (vortex maybe? can't remember name) that you can stuff in front of the xpipe/resonator. Call em and ask em about em. They are supposed to cut down on the drone.

Just noticed this today, but some range rovers have harmonic balancers on their exhaust pipes right after the cats to keep unwanted exhaust vibrations down. I wonder if this could work for drone in others.
It's basically a flat bracket that's welded to the pipe and has a weight bolted to it.

I have the resonator front pipes and they don't do anything for the drone.

07 how much you want for the cones?
I like my exhaust everything above 2k heck I wish it would be slightly louder just don't like it below 2k and wondering if there a fix other than being in a lower gear. Btw would x-pipe make it louder in higher rpms?

If you just did exhaust work, I would first check for a leak. This could make the drone much worse than it needs to be.
You can also try to change the frequency between the tailpipes. Put something in one of the tips (Brian's cone or make something). A small change in output can make a noticeable difference.
I can understand not wanting to drive around something, but a B&B is what it is.

No I had b&b for as long as a had the car. I always had the drone but when I put headers on it become more pronounced. I'll try thorwing something in one of the tips and see how it goes.

The X-pipe made my B&B a lot louder than with the center resonator. Tony is right about changing the frequency between the two sides, I was going to try installing a cone in only one side first with just a small tack weld just to see. I never got around to it before I installed my cutouts.
serik21 - Send me a PM with your address. I'll send them to you if you need me to, but B&B sent them to me for free because I called them up and said "My B&B exhaust on my CTS-V drones like crazy between 1600 and 2000 rpms." I would try to get a set that way first. Talk to Mike (888)598-3688.

Where are your tips exiting? I mean, do they extend beyond the rear fascia at all?
May sound funny, but it made a pretty good difference in one of my cars (not the V as the placement is fine) by extending the tip out a little...Not a huge difference, but notieable...If you have them exiting under the car (unlikely), it'll reverberate and really 'drone'.
btw - is this B&B a glasspack like a magnaflow and others, or a chambered muffler like flowmasters? Seems those really have a tendency to do that on these engines (and others) more than say a good turbo muffler...I'd say an H or X pipe *should* help a little too...
