Default HID headlight bulb!!!

It's not a cts
But a escalade.... Guessing they may have same bulb...but maybe not

Anyway I have 1 out dealer sales $800 to replace .. Doh

Anyone know if ther is aftermarket bulbs I cAn us?

And where to get them?

what year escalade? im pretty sure there were a few years on escalades where the bulb and ballast are the same unit- thats why its expensive. if you get my the year i can look it up for you

I think only the older Escalades shared the same bulb.

Was that just bulb price or replacement price? Those damn headlights are a PAIN IN THE *** to get out to replace bulbs, gotta pull the bumper loose, find hidden bolts and nuts and crap, if I remember right it's about 1.5 hrs. labor which would be $300 for labor plus I'm sure 300-400 for the bulb. Check ebay if you aren't afraid to tear your Escalade apart.

V-LEDs.com had DS1 bulbs on sale last night, different temperatures for $55.

I bought some last night.

yeah i didnt know it was a newer escalade, the first time i did an H11 bulb in a yukon and quoted the guy $85 he cursed and yelled at me and left my shop- came back and apologized after getting a 200$ quote from the dealer. most cars these days the front facia has to be removed or atleast partialy removed to get a bulb in- engineers suck.

They do it so the buyer can't work on their own vehicle, that way you gotta bring it back. On the new GMC trucks you can do it without going through all that crap, little tricky but doable.
