Custom hood installed and painted. Also painted the grills, fog light buckets, lower valence piece, under hood gray plastic piece above the grills, rear bumper insert, rear chrome strip body color and slightly tinted tails. I think that's it.

Are those Hankook Ventus V12 tires? If so, how do you like them?

@ family, not stealing the look. Going with a different color caliper soon but it won't be yellow.

@ Fuzzy, yes, those a V12's and I like them a lot. They have a great wear cycle and much better forward grip in both dry and rain than the PS2's. Well worth the money.

Rooster, I don't know what kind of suspension options you have on that particular car, but if you ask me, it needs to lose about 1.50-1.75". Not only will it look less like a XUV, you'll be able to corner a lot better and you'll lose a lot of the turbulent flow under the vehicle at speed.

I think the 2009 + Caddy forum is planning some kind of Caddy shootout in Florida this winter. With the power you're will be making with a 2.9 blower are you thinking of going?

IMO, there's too much chrome on the V2's. I like how the V1's had the chrome around the side windows blacked-out, but that may be too much for your car with the current wheels.

Looks damn nice as is. Especially the Front & Rear!

Gotta get rid of some of the chrome for that sinister look, I agree.

@fuzzylog1c, is the reduction in underbody turbulent flow significant enough to reduce the Cd? Are there any mpg gains?

Hatched, I'm seeing 2-3 mpg gains at "fast" highway speeds (actual value depends on how fast I'm going).

More importantly, I was able to raise my maximum top speed through a specific offramp (my benchmark for cornering) from 46 to 54 mph.

Are those wheels the factory black? They look really matte and sorta "rough".

The small stuff really looks good, like painting the factory grey plastic bits. If you'd never seen another V, yours looks like the way it should have been made.

Looks great! What was your process for painting the exterior pieces? What paint did you use?
