Default Start saving your pennies - Pulling Magnuson 112

Pulled most of the kit last night and plan on pulling the rest today. Should be able to have it in a box ready for shipping by Friday or Saturday. Everything looks really good. Going to make an official "for sale" thread in the right section once I am ready to ship, but had several regular members ask me to give them notice when it was coming off. This is it.

Haven't figured out a price yet. That will be in the thread also. Stay tuned....

Was on the car when I bought it at 26k. Since then I have put aprox 20k miles on it. I will see if I can find the receipt for install and if it has mileage from the previous owner.

You come up with a price yet? Does it come with everything you need for install?

No price yet. Broke my #5 Allen wrench on the valley cover bolts so still need to finish uninstalling it. Back at work now so this will be a few nights a week but mostly on weekends sorta thing.

This will come with everything that I can possibly provide. The one piece I do not see coming with it is the washer for the windshield wipers. Not sure I feel like digging that out. Also, there was no magnavolt on the car when I bought it so I cannot provide one, HOWEVER, this will come with a racetronix pump, and maybe a full racetronix CTS-V kit if I do not use the hotwire kit so the magnavolt is a non issue as the fuel pump is the real solution.

Parts that I have in a pile going with this:
Supercharger w/ smaller pulley
Heat Exchanger
Resivoir for heath exchanger
Pump for coolant
Valley Cover
All bolts
Belt for supercharger (pretty old but holds very well)
Tensioner
Misc. Wiring that is for the magnuson setup.

Forgot to add, this one is polished.

There's some small stuff like coolant crossover that need to go with this kit also. Will completely go over the install manual prior to packing and make sure this thing is ready for install when it gets to you minus that little washer and the magnavolt. I don't forsee any dissapointment.

Color copy of install manual will be included as well.

For LS6.

wcryan's magnavolt will work with the supercharger, but as stated, this one will have a brand new racetronix pump that came in the CTS-V kit they sold for a while. Might use the wiring harness for that if I can adapt it to my magnafuel 4301. Otherwise it will go with the supercharger. Won't know how that will work until mid week.

I have a Superchips tuner I got with mine I'll be selling shortly. (I didn't use it) I've been told your car has to have the stock tune in order to use it.

PM'd you back.

Will be getting rest of kit together tomorrow. Look for the for sale post over the weekend. To be fair, first person that pays for it will get it as I've had many members message me over the last month or two.

I just droped a bunch of $$ on AN fittings/fuel system so would love to ship this asap.

Pulley is a 2.6 or 2.8, whichever you do not have to modify/grind anything for.

I never noticed any belt slip. On 4.10 gears I could feel the tires slip plenty though.

Thanks looking forward to seeing the kit. Do you have any pics of it? Did this car get wrecked? Also what did you use for anti wheel hop?

This car did not get wrecked. That was my previous V. Sold the salvage w/ motor/supercharger.

This V has a Dana 44 (Viper Differential) and the BMR anti-wheelhop kit. I actually cracked the 1/2 inch aluminum mounts on the diff so I am creating a billet piece.

Pic from last week from Iphone. Will have better pics tomorrow night.

It's the BMR kit with the bar going across. No bushings on this car. It has a different differential.

This setup works pretty well. I did break the differential though and it still functioned. Pics soon.
