Default Reliability of a v ls block

Hey this is kind of general but I'd thought I would throw it out there as most of you know more about these than me. I know it mostly depends on how you drive the car and such but in general with proper maintenance and good upkeep what seems to be the engine life on these??? Recently came across a V with almost 200k on it that drives smoother than mine with 58k same year and all. Just thought it was weird. Also was wondering if there is a cylinder compression/pressure or something of the sorts that can be tested on these high mile cars to see if its gonna croak soon? Any comments except "lolz" from the hemorrhoids are welcome

Yeah I got a buddy who's T/A has 220k or so on the clock. We rolled it to Hilton Head (which is 8 hours away) this Summer. Idk if his car will ever die LOL.

You can do a compression check and/or a leak down check.

Not much in the way of failures with LS6/LS2 motors. Sure, there's been a few (#7 piston, spun bearings, intake valve springs).

Here's a maggied V with 225k:
