Are we supposed to have yellow valve springs on our LS6s?

Are we supposed to have yellow valve springs on our LS6s? I'm resealing the valve covers on my recently purchased 2005 CTS-v and noticed the valve springs aren't painted yellow. all they have is a pinkish/orange stripe down the side of them. the head castings read 12564243. WTF? Help!!

oh good. This car has turned out to have one problem after another, and if I found out this was a junkyard engine out of a Camaro, I was gonna burn the damn thing. LOL

I'm not planning on replacing anything as long as it's stock. I was scared I had a replacement engine in my car. I've never seen anything but yellow springs in LS6s and LS2s

Bringing this back up. Just checked and I too have the plain springs. I want to put the blue or yellow springs in. I am not planning a cam upgrade anytime soon. Whats the upgraded trunion ?

when my cam was done apparently I had two different springs in mine some were yellow and others were the ls1 springs...previous owner must have replaced them...but got my dual golds in there now

May want the trunion upgrade before going to a stiffer spring. They have been known to puke their guts with stock springs. I had crane gold roller rockers with patriot gold extreme springs and never ha a problem.
