Default HID/DDM tuning fog light issue

Ive used DDM tuning kits on 4 other applications and the only issue i had was a dead ballast after a few months of use on 1 car. I got a kit for the fog lights and when I plug everything in the HID light wouldnt light on. I tried both ballasts and bulbs and didnt have any luck with either. Is there something Im missing specific before I send the kit back? and yes the stock lights do work. After messing around with this and another fruitless hour and 1/2 attempting to get the little corner lights in the head light assembly out to replace them with led's im starting to doubt my abilities. Thank goodness I didnt screw up the oil change or it would have been time to turn in my man card...

it may be stupid, but did you try turning the connector that goes into the ballast around and trying it that way? I had quite a few sets from VVME.com, and sometimes they would be backwards inside and I would need to connect them in reverse.

On the V the polarity is wrong. Extract the pins and install them in the opposite hole.

When I installed mine, I was skeptical of reversing these pins, but it was in every thread I read.

You can just flip the connector around going into the ballast. You don't need the little extension piece they give you.

No need to pull the pins out or anything.

They may have changed but the older units like mine could not be plugged in and secured by flipping them. I had to extract them. But whatever works.

The DDM's can be reversed at the ballast now.
