I have a 05 CTS-V with HD Xeon factory headlights. So my question is can I buy reg halogen headlight on ebay and use them in my car as in plug and play? Or can I use my HD bulbs in the Ebay halogen headlights? I am just needing a niece new lens in my car.

You have Heavy Duty Xeon factory headlights?

No, you cant use a D1S HID bulb in a halogen headlight, it wont fit. If you bought halogen headlights youd need to buy a HID kit if you wanted to stick with HIDs.

so I can buy Halogen light lens and use then in HD place as long as I want to use Halogen! Then will it still be plug and play if I use Halogen light Lens in place of my HD I have now??

I didn't go with the LED strip headlight, but with the dual Halo projector style lights and love them.... Here's a few random pictures of them installed with the gray trim painted black to match the inner black housing.

Nice! I like that look better I think. Would be cool to change the ring color to red maybe to? I need to do something with the headlights. It's the only thing not black anymore.

That's why I had to do something with mine. My old stockers were cracked, pitted, hazy and looked horrible with the gray interior/border. Plus, my stock HID's crapped out on me so I was running an aftermarket HID setup anyways so that made it a breeze swapping to these.

Maybe your right..... I just thought it might look good on a black one? The red ones on the new Camaros look pretty good. Did you guys find the headlights like that on EBay?

I would say pretty close to stock output, with a nice set of HID's it has a nice cutoff and illumination is bright. Mine needed to be adjusted after installing them and afterwards they work just as well. I don't regret getting them.

So both of the above sets still have the gray outer ring? Just the inside is black?

Correct, interior of the housing is black, the exterior border is still gray. Although, it's an easy fix. Took me about an hour to do both lights.

Do you have a link to the double halo ones posted, or is there a specific seller on ebay? The double halo look great imo.

(Fit Halogen Type ONLY, DOES NOT FIT CTS with stock Xenon HID)

But that doesnt matter right because most of the ones I've seen come with HID kits right or am I reading that wrong?

Correct, it's stating it won't work with the OEM HID setup. You will just have to wire an aftermarket HID setup in it, which most of the lights include now.
