Default Flywheel coming apart?

I've always had noise coming out of the engine/transmission area while the car is sitting and the clutch is not pushed in. Once I push the clutch in the noise went away so I always assumed by some post I've read that it is my stock fly wheel coming apart. The noise seems to be getting a little louder and there is a kind of like binding noise now when the clutch is engaging. Does this sound like the flywheel? If the flywheel is coming apart what are my risks?

Do you know how much the LS7 clutch is and where I can get it from?

Definitely change the fluid in the trans also, you could be low or the fluid could look like motor oil causing the bearing to make noise and go bad.

you can find deals on the whole setup. you need the ls7 flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, slave cylinder, and bleeder extension to make it all work.

very good mod to do. makes the car feel lighter.

My guess is you have a bad throw out bearing. Might as well upgrade your clutch while you're in there though.

+LS7 slave+ a remote bleeder.. LAPD.. you gotta modify it to fit out cars bell..

at least thats what im gonna do when mine goes out.. [no-where-near-soon]

do some research.. some guys get a vibration at 2-3k.. some say you need to get the clutch kit balanced some say install error by using the bolts to reattach the trans and thus bending the clutch disforming it in some way
