Default FG2 install rattle

I installed a slightly used pair of FG2's to replace my old fe4's and when I hit the test drive the LF FG2 rattles when hitting quick bumps like entrances to parking lots and manhole covers? I have triple checked all the bolts have new sway bar end links and torqued to spec so my question is can the fg2 be bad?

It didn't do this with the fe4's and I have now taken it apart 3x.

Its not leaking but wondering if it can fail internally?

Thanks,

Dave

Swap it out with the RF one. See if the noise follows.

I made sure it was seated. The shock will not rebound after I push it in like the fe4 or other fg2 I have so I am assuming its a goner. I also tested on the freeway and could feel it bouncing around like a rubber band.
