Yup shave heads as much as possible, thin head gasket, big cam, fly cut pistons, race gas. Boom. Or 93 with meth. Might not make it to 500 but youd be damn close.

So 450 rwhp would be a better guess with a cam and heads?

420 to 430rwhp with a h\c setup for the most part from what I've seen. Most people leave stock heads and do cam only and end up with 420ish wheel horse.

You'd need a maggie, or another method of FI to get 450 off the gate.

If you have an LS2, you'll need a ported intake or FAST to see 420.

What year/motor is your car?

If you are looking for the cheapest way to make big power, go turbo. B rocks it is selling a kit in the classifieds for a steal of a price.

Just my .02 (educated guess). On an ls2 car if he went with ls3 top end and aggressive cam, full bolt ons and a tune I'd think he'd be quite north of 450 rwhp correct? With ls6 idk tho.

To get to 500rwhp N/A its gonna cost a lot of money. Were talking ported AFR heads, Ported FAST intake, injectors, light valvetrain, high compression. You can put a tvs2300 on it for the same price and have alot more power and room to grow.

^^^This...

Plus having an all motor setup that starts getting up there in hp starts getting less streetable. You need to start reving the nuts off it to get the pwoer. Like 1000cc streetbikes, they make like 200 hp which is awesome, but they turn like 15000 rpm to do it. I'm not saying to spin an LS block to that kind of rpm but I can imagine having to turn like say 8k to get there.
