Default Victor Jr intake manifold installed on 04V

Over the winter I installed a Vic Jr intake on my V. Fits perfect, only thing I had to do was remove the strut bar since it was a ls6(a ls2 will fit). I just wanted to do something that stood apart from the normal LS engine bay. Most vehicles with an LS would have to modify the motor mounts or get a cowl hood but on the V it works great.

Thoughts comments on the setup?

Nice job, looks clean! Where did you get the elbow from?

id like to see the power curve that set up makes.. only thing that sucks is the 90 elbow in the intake trak. have you had the chance to dyno it?

You should put on some of those retro coil covers that look like valve covers - to complete the old school look a little more.

There are lots of options, but here's what I'm talking about.

I put polised valve covers on it and had to switch to the truck coils because of the bolt spacing. But i do like the old school idea

I had it dyno tuned, it put down 420/380. I think the setup would do better on a 6.0 block or bigger. I was still making power @6800 but left it there to be "safe". I will take a picture of the graph this wknd.

Nice! Yea what elbow is that?

I was very close to going victor jr, but decided against it just because it's metal and I figured it would get hotter than a poly intake. It probably doesn't make a huge difference, but I definitely prefer the look of the Vic!

I'd like to see the torque down low vs an LS6 intake.

The elbow is from 6061.com

The intake was like $420-440 and it came with the fuel rails.

Mods are in my sig.

Not a bad price at all considering I spent 1 k on a fast
Would like to see a comparison against the fast 90 or 102

Looks really nice, ive had one for a while but never installed it because didn't know what elbow works with stock TB. Im losing boost somewhere and I think it from my LS1 intake! Looks really nice!
