I wouldnt even bother taking air out if your on street tires. If you wanna risk the chance of wheel hop just spin the tires for 1-2 seconds to clean them off no need for a John Force burnout. I honestly never made a pass that didnt rattle my teeth out because of the wheel hop so be careful.

I tried launching around 2500 rpms and basically launching from idle speeds at the track. I ran faster when not launching hard at all. This was with stock tires. Too much spin and hop when trying to launch hard without better rubber and rear diff/cradle bushings. Try it both ways and see what works.

2200-2500 rpms fast clutch slip worked fine for me. It hooked and engaged at a speed that didn't result in a bog or anything but didn't wheel hop really at all either. Definitely could have given it more throttle on the start if I wanted to. I was on street tires Hankooks V12's at about 33 psi worked fine.

On a few runs it hopped pretty bad shifting hard into second.. First run was 13.5, 13.3, 13.4, 13.3, 13.4....I plan on getting revshift rear cradle bushings, installing my 180 tstat, getting some dr's and getting a tune at synergy motorsports I'm ca. After that I can atleast run a 12.9 I'll be happy.

Yeah, you should be in the 12s for sure.

What is the elevation and DO at the track when you were there?
