It normally would be today yet, however... I emailed out of orings this morning and our next shipment is late but should be here tomorrow.

We ship the DIY kit through USPS Priority.

Our promo only runs to the last day of March. Then our increase will take effect.

Placed my order yesterday. Hopefully the weather will get a little warmer so I can drop the driveshaft soon.

Sorry it took so long for this post. Haven't put too many miles on the car with the new carrier bushing in, but I'm very pleased with the result. Motor feels smooth again on the highway.
As a bonus, this cleared up some noise I thought was coming from the clutch. There was a "scraping" noise when I pushed the pedal in. I assumed the bearings were shot on the slave but that's gone now.

Thank you voodoo, and everyone else that chimed in with advise.

Looking forward to getting this done, along with a new Fluidampr balancer!

Good tutorial here:

Do the Vs have 2 GUIBOs or just one?

That is a CTS driveshaft which is nothing like the V driveshaft. CTS uses two flex discs and a ujoint in the center.. V uses two CV joints and one flex disc.. that would be a good tutorial if you had a base CTS.

Gotcha. I've got the full service manual just haven't printed up the correct pages yet to accompany your carrier replacement instructions. Isn't the general R&R for the shaft the same as in the video?

No. That CTS shaft is attached differently, and the torque values will be different. And for the V, the only instruction you will find for the driveshaft is unbolting it I'm guessing, as there is no procedure for taking it apart.

I'll check the code and website out when I get to the shop. It's too much of a hassle on my phone. Thanks for the orders guys.

Man, I should have just had voodoo do the shaft for me. Got the kit, the CV joint fell out during the process so I thought, "I'll just service them with this fancy redline grease since I'm here anyway." **** what a pain in the *** to put these together correctly. Gave up and taking the POS to a driveshaft shop, will get it balanced while there. What a fucked up POS this driveshaft is, these CV joints are a BITCH!

Sorry man!! We never want to hear someone had trouble. Which joint came apart and how?

Yes they are a bitch, we have a nominal fee to service them and its almost not worth the hassle for us sometimes lol.
