anyone else have this issue? my 05 v shifter shakes when at stop lights or driving and its getting on my damn nerves!!! i removed the boot and the **** completely and it seems like its shaking inside the **** and not the actual shift rod!! anyone have a link to a fix? i looked but couldnt really find much about it

There is a weight directly behind shift pattern. You can try to pry it out and re glue it If that is what came loose. Or, the metal tab which holds the **** on is broke. Is there play in the shifter **** or is it still solid?
