Default Revshift Rear Diff Bushings Now Available!

There have been no replacement bushings available for the two rear diff bushings on the 2003-2007 CTS/CTS-V... Until now!

We now offer the rear diff bushings as well as a whole diff bushing set that includes the front and rear bushings.

Keep your differential in place for good with Revshift polyurethane diff bushings.

How's the install on the rears? As messy as the front?

Yes. The rear diff bushings are in the subframe so they require more disassembly than the front bushing alone.

I think a good 4th of July sale would be good to help get these out there...

Will you be making them in 95A Red or is Green the standard 95A color now?

Fuzzy good Idea. I'd buy all the rest of my sets.

KamaSutra. Green is the new 95A color.

What am I missing here, I thought these were already available? Aren't these just the bushings for mounting the sub-frame to the body?

those are the cradle bushing you are referring to. the green ones at the corners of the assembly. I just did mine and I took this pic.

the new ones available replace the bushings at the 2 rear mounting points to the cradle.

Can we just buy the rear bushings? For the guys that are running the 8.8 or 9 inch.

Thanks dead civic, I'm guessing these have to be air hammered out with the cradle off the car or can they still be done with the cradle on the car and the differential removed?

I wouldn't even try it with the cradle in the car. thos bushings are way up there. but you probablty can manage to do it with just lowering the cradle some instead of completely removing it.

I'd expect that if your diff whines on acceleration or cruise, these will transmit a heck of a noise during decel.

The suby rear diff bushings really made a lot of noise when you let off the gas, especially after 20-50k miles. It was unreal. Dude who bought my car sight unseen almost bailed on me after driving it with the hatch full of parts and the seat down because of the racket. I would think most of the motion comes from the front pivoting up and down. I don't think the suby even had a mount in front of the diff which is why it would smack against the car when shifting with a little bit of power. Necessary evil there.

On these cars you'd probably have to be putting down a bit of power or just driving really really hard to put up with that kind of noise. Maybe that's just me though.

Prob should've put this in a different thread. No offense to revshift of course. There is demand for it I'm sure. Feel free to correct me.

I can agree to that. It's obvious they will most likely transfer more noise, the key is to have a quiet diff!!! Haha but these I'd imagine will be most beneficial to those with an 8.8 or 9" already in their V.
