Default LG Motorsport coilovers (where to buy?)

I cant seem to find them anywhere to buy. Does anyone have a link or know where to purchase some of their coilovers for the 04-07 V?

I believe you would need to contact lg motorsports directly to have them made.

Got it.

Any ballpark idea on how much the set runs before I call? $$$

I can't remember exactly as I ordered these a long time ago, but I want to say around $2700. Also, be warned they're built to order so there's some lead time. That said, they are very well-made units. They're not very popular due to the cost, but with swapping springs and adding a different upper mount to the KWs, they start to become comparable.

the inverted design of them alone pretty well sold me on them. as well as them being built to order by a company that knows what they are doing.

but for that money you are getting very close to what the penske DA coilovers cost and may be a better option at that point. the LGs are SA.

True. Do the Penskes have remote reservoirs? I can't remember.

since they're for my daily driver and i'd just be using them to get low, i don't need a lot of adjustment besides height.

I believe there are two penskes.. the DA and TA. The TA (which i believe junior has) do run remote reservoirs. the DA i believe do not.

Then i wouldn't recommend LG coilovers as they require frequent rebuilds (assuming you put a lot of miles on the car) per the mfg.

well, that's a shame. they're setup perfect for a set of coilovers that would be good for being comfortable while still being able to go pretty low. all of the other conventional style coilovers are taiwanese junk (D2, ksport) and the KW are the only other option and i hate how the springs are separate from the shock (even though that'd give me less clearance for wider wheels).

Yes, my Penske triples have the remotes but I could almost remember you can add-on the remote to a double as well.
But same thing, they do need to be rebuilt every so often. Not something worthwhile for a DD...

what makes them necessary of being rebuilt versus the others on the market? the seem to use superior shocks and springs as well as mounting hardware. wouldn't they tend to last longer, then?

Who ever said that? I have ran our coil overs on Corvette's for thousands of miles without touching them.

Now you can take them apart and they are easily gone through so that is a good point, but there is no reason in the world you should have to even touch them for a solid 25k miles....and I have seen well over 60k on street cars without them needing to be rebuilt.
