Well.. I like to rotate my tires so I keep a square size all around. If I didn't I'd stick with the 255/45 in the back, that size was perfect and made 1st gear more usable with the slightly taller tire.

As far as driving goes - I'm like you - the 245 all around is great because I can throttle oversteer when having some fun. Overall I'm happy they look better now that I'm lowered too compared to the 255/45.

You are going to bend the lip of your fender when making turns and hitting bumps.

Ask me how I know.

just roll the fenders and it's no longer an issue.

and to do it with a roller you'll need a spacer (use a butt ton of washers, whatever) so you can clear the caliper with the arm on the roller. i still have to finish up my roll for my new wheels. right now it's half assed.

even at stock height? i saw several say that they had no issues. we will see. if it rubs then i will have to roll the fender i guess. i am not stressing. i rarely if ever go lock to lock and if i am driving aggressive its likely going to be in a straight line.

well, to be fair, it is kind of a ton of tire for a wheel that doesn't support that ton of tire. the bulging sidewall is a dead giveaway that they just don't fit.

So I've been planning to buy 5 sets of tires and budgeting $3800 for those.

I need 4 other sets I wasn't planning to buy yet. For all 9 sets with the sale I figured out what combination of individual tires to order and get the $100 off on 13 orders.

0 off 0 @ Discount Tire via Ebay again-kj4ivoq.jpg

I'd get all 9 sets for only $300 more that what I was going to spend anyway.

Well after placing 3 orders I found out there's a 3 use limit on the coupon code. I made a 2nd account and got away with using the code once, but now when I go to check out it removes tires from my cart to keep my total under $400 lol. Dammit ebay. I managed to place the 4 orders of Terra Grapplers and Kumhos and saved $400, which is more than the cost of the Kumhos.

I'm gonna have to use my wife's account, and a few friends' accounts to place all 13 orders. They're making me work for it but I'm gonna get it lol. I guess if I have to I can hold off on some until the sale comes around again in the fall and then my wife and I will both have 3 more uses of the code.

Well I currently have 18 cars plus my wife's car needs tires. Most of those are projects, but most of the ones I drive need tires. I bought a good mounter and balancer a few years ago because I buy all my tires online and don't like paying to have them mounted. I had plans to buy 5 sets anyway. The rest I didn't yet have plans to buy, but I was dreading buying them later. It took some work but I managed to order 8 sets and used the coupon code 12 times. So basically I spent $200 more than I was planning and got 12 more tires. I now have 6 ebay accounts and 3 paypal accounts lol. Plus I used my wife's account.

Each paypal account can use the code 3 times so I had to use 4 accounts. Each ebay account can use it 3 times too, but you can only order the same item once. So the way I broke it up I had to order the same single tire or pair more than once rather than just buying a set of 4. It would automatically remove an item from my order if I had already ordered it with that ebay account, so I had to create more ebay accounts. It was a serious PITA, and I'm surprised it worked, but it was worth it. DTD sent me invoices for all the shipments so I guess they have no problem with it.

You're a stronger man than me. I wouldn't have went through all that hassle.

But I guess when you have 18 cars you're used to that.

Yeah it's like couponing for dudes lol.

I also noticed that the Terra Grapplers have a $70 rebate. They mail you a visa card with the $70 on it. DTD sent me one invoice for each paypal account. I had one full set on one invoice so with that invoice number I was able to claim the rebate. Unfortunately the other set was split up between two invoices or I could claim that rebate too.

So anyone using this discount, don't forget to check for a rebate too. My buddy is ordering a set of tires that are $393, so he added valve stems to the order to get it over $400. He gets the $100 off and that set of tires currently has a $50 rebate too.

Are they running this on all Nittos? I still haven't ordered...Could sway me away from the Hankook EVO2s.

Having a hard time finding any reviews besides the one at PBIR on the new NT555 G2's...

Staggered setup with the Nitto NT555 G2's.
255/45/18-$334
245/45/18-$324
TOTAL: $658-$100-$70(?)=$488 TYD

4 Hankook Evo2 K120
245/45/18-$604-$100=$504 TYD.

They're close enough in price I'd rather just go for the better set.
