Not a lot of V2s on this forum. I believe most of the concerns are minor, leaking/noisy sunroof being the biggest concern. Rocking recaros, clicking wheels, and ill fitting carpet are some other issues I've heard of. Also they get terrible MPG and have smallish gas tanks. Search on some of the other V forums and you'll find plenty of threads on the topic of what to look for.

FWIW, I've only owned my '12 V for <2 months, so I'm no expert, but so far it's doing equally as good on gas as my '04 V did. Keep in mind I don't run it very hard. Mostly just back and forth to work with a couple of on-ramp blasts here and there. Though this one is much more refined which, for the most part, is a good thing - quiet, smooth, and quick.
One thing I do sort of miss is the 'rumble' of the LS6, especially when sitting at a stop light. The V2 not only idles smoother, but the stock exhaust is quieter as well. Personally I would like a 'little' more rumble from a car like this, but nothing crazy.
I did manage to pick up an Airaid intake. So at least I can hear the S/C whine when I open it up.
Otherwise, none of the issues mentioned above as of yet, but my car has only 6,000 miles so far.

If you go to CTSVowners.com I'm sure you will find all answers to whatever questions / concerns you may have .
With regard to your wondering if there is anything you have to look out for if you get a V2. Yes, trying to keep from having a perpetual grin on your face every time you drive it ! LOL
FWIW, can't recommend the car highly enough. Best car have ever owned.
Take it for a test drive ( and drive it like you stole it ) and that's all the convincing you'll need !

I forgot about the supercharger rattle too, but those now have a 100k warranty so I wouldn't worry about it too much. I think the V2 is really hard to beat for its combo of luxury, power, price, and mod potential. I love my V1 but I plan to be getting into a V2 in the next year or so.

FYI, the supercharger " rattle " is not the supercharger per se but is/was caused by a spring that attaches to a small hardened plastic part called an isolator. GM has finally decided to replace them under warranty with a solid isolator ( minus the spring) to solve the issue instead of replacing the whole supercharger. However,in spite of this change they still warranty the supercharger for 100 K miles.

The cars are fairly rock soild.
Supercharger replacement is the big thing going on right now. Basic almost every V from 2009 through 2014 is getting brand new blowers.
Wheel Click when turning under low speed is normal. Fixed is new lug nuts from the dealer and torquing them down to 140 ft pounds.
A handful have diff problems, but the vast majority of the 6MT rear diff. The 6MT came come with a 3.73 and the Auto gets a 3.23.
Other than that, there is nothing major to worry about with these cars. And there are very few changes between each year. It is mostly cosmetic and software/tune changes, or what comes standard.
The only major change I believe, hardware wise, is starting in the 2011 MY the LSA got piston oil squirters. The did come in the 2009 or 2010 V, and as a result if you force too much boost without addressing some key things you can grenade the number 7 or 8 piston.
