Default When is the best time of year to buy a V1?

I've been actively searching OR, WA, ID, CA, and NV for a V1 for a long time now (almost 9 months), and I've noticed they tend to hit the market in waves. I'll be considering three or four cars, which have been listed for a month or so, they'll all disappear at once, then I don't see more than one or two for the next couple months.

Those who know these cars, is there a particular time of year you tend to see more of them on the market? Are these like most nice cars, with owners waiting until the bad weather hits to list them?

You just gotta take advantage when you find one. I know of one here in southern California that is for sale, 2005. Its bone stock. The owner just out in new OEM motor mounts. But I do mean bone stock. Its owned by the father of a guy in our local so cal v group.

Yeah just find the right one and jump on it. Miles? Mods? Price? Appearance? Just pick what's important and get the right one when you see it.

Winter. Especially in colder climates. I bought mine in January and got the deal I wanted. Snow + Hi Po RWD is a tough sell.

Joe I know you have been looking for quite some time, here in the bay area there is a nice 2007 Thunder Gray on Craigslist, listed as a higher than market price based on "rarity" of the color scheme. Looks like a beautiful car, if you had no intentions of heavy modifications then this may be a feasible option for you? Go check it out.
