Default Pulling injectors

Removing the injectors in my 04 to send out for cleaning. What's the best way ? I see a bunch or crud around the bottom o-ring so I figure I would try to blow out as much as I can with low pressure air then relieve the pressure at the Schrader valve. Then do I separate the feed line at the rail or at the back of the intake ? Any other tips ?

Thanks

Good luck with releasing the fuel feed line. I used the correct fuel line disconnect tool, and I'm not a weak guy...pushed as hard as I possibly could, would not separate. I finally gave up and just pulled the whole rail with injectors and all and laid it off to the side since there are flex sections in the line. I was doing an intake manifold swap, so it was no biggie.

If you have the correct fuel line disconnect tool, I always push the fuel line in further on the fuel rail, seat the tool with the line held further up the fuel rail, then push back on both at once. Usually releases first try for me.
