Default MM spacers needed with FG2 shocks?

I recently purchased a 05 V for a DD and looking at the H&R springs. I have read a lot about the mm spacers but are they needed with the FG2 shocks??

Then you will need them or your FG2s will try to pump the rear back up to stock ride height.

Completely disreard anyone who tries to tell you or anything you read that says you don't need rear shock mount relocation kits (spacers) to lower your car. Surprisingly, some folks are still convinced that you don't need it. You do. So just do it. Otherwise, your car will look nice and pretty when it's just sitting in the driveway, then when you're actually driving it, the rear end will pump up an inch or two and make it look like you only lowered the front. There have got to be close to a million threads on this topic (lowering in general), so do some searching and educate yourself on it a bit before you make your purchases. Just my .02...

^^^^Thanks! I agree there are more threads you can count on this subject, I figured someone would tell me I'm beating a dead horse. Thanks again for the clarity.

Like its been said the spacers are needed regardless. The FE4 and FG2 shocks are both self leveling.

Just FYI, some info on them:

Like everyone has said, both the stock and the FG2 suspension use Nivomat rear shocks.
