Holy crap, what a difference.

I was skeptical about the threads and the difference people claimed, but it really does feel like a new car. I picked up a brand new set of revshift blue mounts with jackets. Feels great. Also had the transmission Mount installed.

Fingers crossed that they don't melt/crack.

Awesome! how long did it take you to receive them? We just ordered the blue mounts and trans insert on thanksgiving with 25% off.

Definitely makes a difference, I have my blue Revshift MM's in for about a year with long tubes and had no melting issues.

It's a good idea to wrap them in header wrap, though.

I actually bought them nib from another owner on here that had bought a v2.

It seems as though most folks had success with the jackets, so I've got my fingers crossed.

It really is incredible the difference. Mine were blown when I bought it. It's nuts how many "issues" I thought I was having that have cleared up with them.

I was able to put the stock shields back due to the diameter of the jackets. No headers either so hope I'm fine as well.

Did you replace ones that had gone bad or was this preemptive?

L
Because they haven't looked under the silicone jackets. It is beyond me why anyone wouldn't wrap them anyhow.

Well, I guess I'll just have to wait and see, then. No header wrap was on them.
