What is everyone's battery voltage showing?
In the menus you can bring up the battery voltage, curious what everyone is seeing while running. When I first got my car it had a new alternator and was usually between 13.9-14.1, lately when I look I see between 13.2-13.8.

If you wanna find your voltage drops, perform a static and dynamic test on your ground wires. If you get an unusually low reading, repair the ground e.g. new wire, star washer, or just clean it.
The DIC (for me) reads anywhere from 12.8 to 13.9 depending what I'm running. Eventually, I'll be replacing my alternator with a Mechman - it fits my needs perfectly.

Leave your lights on... You'll see it first hand. I let my kid play in my car, he likes to "drive" it. He left the lights on... Got in to go to work... Dead battery... You know you're screwed when you turn the ignition on and it says battery saver... This being a Cadillac, it needs more energy than las Vegas on an average night in order to start.

Has anyone else dealt with a battery drain problem in these cars? Mine has had a drain ever since I bought it, and doesn't happen all of the time which makes it even more frustrating. Most of the time, if the car sits for 2-3 days the battery is dead. Every once in a while though it can sit for a week and will fire right up with no issues. Any ideas?

I just replaced my battery. At idle it should read 13-13.3v depending on load. When the revs are up it should be around 14-14.3v. With the engine off and no load is on the battery it should read around 12.8v. My old battery was at 12.65v and 365cca so I replaced it cause it was 7 years old. The biggest thing to know is when running your voltage should be higher then with it off, if you start your car and it doesn't go up, you have a bad alternator most likely. If you are having battery drain problems. Check voltage right after you shut the engine off, a large drop in voltage overnight indicates a drain in your electrical system, or a sometimes a bad battery. A strong battery should be at about 12.7v even after sitting for a week or two.
