I have nothing new. Put in a voodoo chicken DS with the softest center bushing material or a stocker.

Where is everyone at with this??

I've had my 8.8/CF 1p DS up to 150mph with zero issues. Even before my 8.8 I was using the same CF 1 piece DS and didn't have any issues with it in that configuration either.

I'm running full CS mounts also.

How old is your driveshaft? There have been a couple of design variations from what I hear...

Thanks..

I bought it right before they came out with the two CV version. Mine has 1 CV at the diff end and a u joint at the trans end. It's almost a couple years old now.

As it turns out, the driveshaft in my car is u-jointed at the diff and CV'd at the transmission. The front bushings appear to be the same size top and bottom.

I'm also running a single piece DSS CF with a CV at the transmission and universal at the diff. I have been chasing a vibration a similar vibration since i bought it. Just got around to installing CS motor mounts and I think it fixed it. Haven't been able to take it over 100mph yet but it used to come on around 90 and would go away around 120. First pass i took and it seemed good......

Glad to see this getting fixed by someone at least...

Which CS mounts did you put in it? Mine already has a set....

Well........ I spoke too soon Seems to have "tightened up" the range a little bit and it doesn't seem to come on until about 100, ramps up, and abruptly smooths out at 120.... Running 95A bushings throughout

I experienced no vibration so far with the 8.8, and I've had it up north of 160 (granted I'm on 4.10s, so thats still north of 145). Stock 2 piece with adapter.

What I have experienced is blowing out those red bushings. Has anyone else had this issue? I've blown 2 out... 1 was the same day I ran car north of 160, other was at launch on track. All within 2 weeks. Same exact bushing, same exact location. I've put a hose clamp around it to hold it together for next track outing in case it fails, and I have 1 more spare.

Brian can break anything, I swear. Totally guaranteed. They're shipping him another one ASAP. That's a standup company.

LOL - I am doing great today. Pushing that fat pig up the hill on Saturday sucked, though. There is a hole in the cover of my 8.8 and Max has ordered the parts to build me a new diff which should be shipping within a week. Standup customer service for sure.

I had to give up on the one piece carbon fiber driveshaft. The vibrations were horrible over 110. Mine had a CV at the trans end and a U-joint at the diff. One of my front diff bushings tore and fell out at MidOhio and allowed my diff to move enough that the carbon fiber hit my exhaust and the driveshaft is compromised and useless. I run a stock driveshaft with the Voodoochikin04 center bearing.
