Default sorry to ask but what about the v6-CTS

Considering several cars for my wife, while she was test driving Infiniti G35 the dealer also asked if she would like to drive a CTS. She did and liked the CTS better than the the G35 or BMW 330i....i don't know much about the CTS or the v6 motor etc. any help and education from knowledgeable folks much appreciated...thanks.

Check out the current issue of R&T... they ranked it #1, vs: A6, 530i, E320, etc.

Without an automatic or dual clutch sequential shifter for the V series..I was considering the CTS 3.6 liter as well as a great daily driver..

I'd say its one of the best deals out there this year just as it is! still...there's

Rumor is theres a 3.6 liter turbo or supercharger (CTS Sport?) with V series wheels and grill with an automatic coming down the road too..

Not sure if its 2005 or 06 though.

I'd stay away from the 3.0L V6. It's the same engine as the Catera's, and that "c" word is a naughty one at work It's a pain to work on

Thanks for the replies and threads....car is interesting, with lots of good reviews and comments only a few negative reports most dealing with mechanical complaints on the 03 CTS...

The new 04 CTS V6 is a great car, very peppy, excellent handling, 255hp, probably the best little sedan around.......

04 or newer with the 3.6 255 hp V6 is the way to go.

2005 - the 3.6 is now available with a 6 speed manual (in 04 you could only get it with the 5 speed auto) - it should be a SCREAMER.

Any V6 six speeds? See if you (or anyone else at the dealer) can get one for a demo and give us a road test writeup

My mom is looking to get herself one... I'll be helping her pay for it. It's the least I can do for all that she's done for me. Were lookin' into getting a White Diamond one but the only problem is I know she won't take care of it like I would. Another cool thing about is I'll be drivin' it alot more then my car. It's a sweet lookin' car. Hope it's well worth it.
