hi, first off the car I'm working on is not a v, however I hope someone here can help me out. I have a ws6 and have gotten a wealth of info about my car here.. so on to the details.
• 2003 Cadillac CTS
• nothing in the way of the track and all adjustment threads are clean and greased
• driver power seat back works both ways, recline and back up
• driver seat bottom front and rear work going up and down
• driver seat bottom goes forward and backward but stops part way when going in either direction, it acts like it's over heating but I checked circuit breaker and it's not hot. When it stops and I try to move it I hear a click from the motor when the button is pressed but no movement. Wait 2 min and it moves a little bit more then, click. If I move the seat by pressing the button in short 1-2 second taps it will not fail and continue to move all the way.
