Default New to me, 2007 CTS-V!

About 2 weeks ago I found a 2007 CTS-V and just had to have it. I can only have one car, so I like my daily drivers to be a little fun and it sure has. It has 67k miles on it. Had a K&N intake on it but it wasn't adjusted for it at all! It was making the CEL come on. Arguing with the dealer they finally got a (used) OEM to put on, and let me keep the CAI. Have the engine cover, but I think I like seeing the actual engine more.

Think my only questions about it at the moment is the infotainment system, how do you permanently save the EQ settings for each preset? I just like it flat. And any preferred brand on craddle bushings? Definitely feeling that wheel hop

Just hold the eq preset button, but you have to do in on every station/source.

Don't just do the cradle, change all of them, motor, trans, diff and the cradle. If your motor. Mounts are still intact they will not be for long judging by the emoji lol

I second replacing everything, the motor mounts wont last long with aggressive driving, mine were completely tore up at 100k

But in other words, welcome!!!

I'll agree with the above. Get the full driveline bushing and mount package. I wish I had done mine up front instead of a few pieces at a time--finally got it all up-to-date 5+ years later.

welcome. do some reading and try and weed out some of the BS and you can learn a lot. i am curious why the k&n threw a code. it should not do that at all. maybe installed by a moron? doesn't matter its not worth much power on the car. car looks clean. enjoy it.

bushings, shifter, clutch, etc. there are some areas to improve but its a 4dr LS that rips, handles, and stops. cant complain.

Thank you for all the replies! That helped with the radio, thank you. It was throwing codes P0171 and P0174 for lean in both banks. With the CAI it also got 13.6mpg. with the OEM it's easily 2mpg better. I kept it for the future Incase I decide to install it properly. I'll look into replacing all the bushings.

If you ever want to sell the engine cover let me know. I've been looking for one.
