Is this the rear axle pinion seal leaking?
If so, how big of a deal is this? I don't drive hard really, I can't take care of this right now though, is this a big deal? It appears there is a recall for this, hopefully it covers the Vs.

To add to isis's post, on the rear differential there are 3 seals - the pinion seal (where the input from the driveshaft enters the front of the diff housing) and two axle seals (where the two axle shafts exit on either side of the diff housing). So "rear axle pinion seal" is a confusing term.
Now, with all that said, the leak you've got in your pictures doesn't seem to be from any of those three, as all three of the seals on the diff are pretty close to the centerline of the car, whereas your leak is all the way out just inboard of the wheel. The leak is coming right off where rear shock attaches to the knuckle, so more likely is that the shock has blown a seal.
Jack that corner up and pull the wheel off and it should be pretty easy to see where that fluid is coming from.
