Default Car rocks when I shut off the engine

My car rocks when I shut off the engine. Is this normal? It feels like bad motor mounts?

Thanks

my car did that real bad and I found out it was cracked motor mounts. I would get it checked out, it still does it here and there.

im not sure if this was the fix, but as soon as i had the clutch TSB done, the after rock/shock/clutch chatter was gone.... i do know that the motor does move ALOT in the engine bay at idle so maybe a set of polyurethane engine mounts might help out a bit..

The motor mounts in the V's are extremely soft, maybe because they wanted it quite and to ride caddy smooth.

anyone know of a poly-mount? Can an f-body or Vette mount work?

DING DING DING.

Mine did this to, it felt like the moter was 'deiseling' for about a half second after car was shut off. It even fooled the tech for a bit who thought the same thing. After they checked that fuel was being completely shut off, they checked the motor mounts. Both were slightly cracked, and had no liquid in them. Replaced both, and now it shuts off smooth.
