Hey Guys, I'm a newbie. Just picked up an 05 CTS-V with 20k on the OD. Aparently, the previous owner was named James...At least thats what the DIC displays for Driver1. I have tried, and tried to access the DIC Personalization menu, but have not suceeded.

I think I am following all the instructions in the manual correctly...

1. Parking break is on
2. engine is off, but key is in ON position
3. Driver 1 is set.
4 Tune/Sel is pressed when screen reads"Driver1 James"

Then, nothing happens !!! It just goes to radio.

Any Ideas?

PS: The Tune/Sel button works on all radio settings, so it's not a bad button.

Forget It.....I figured it out. The Manuel on page 3-75 is aparently wrong, or not for the "V". I found an audio recording that walks you through the Personlization setup a different way.
