Turbo.5.0

If I wanted to go a little crazy with it though and install a forged rotating assembly or an iron blocked forged 366ci whats the pathway to a 1,000 RWHP set up?

Ditch the SC'er......

Go Turbo?

Or can it be done with the SC'er....

I ask all this because I have a brand new Level 4 Jakes 4L80E and a 100% complete Huron Speed turbo kit at home waiting to be installed into my 1998 Trans Am WS6. With the S484 w/race cover it should do 1,100-1,200 RWHP. BUT....I've owned it since new in 1998 and I'm thinking of going a lot more towards luxury...WITH POWER.

But I want to still have a very fast car thats my daily driver.

Will a 800 RWHP CTS-V (4 door) hang along side the new Z06 SC'ed Vette if the Vette has its stock 650 HP, in a roll race like 50-170mph.....?

.

I like turbo....hence why I have the username I chose.

A 800rwhp will WALK a new c7z06.....I walked one in mine. But once the Z starts doing the mods, then the race will get much more interesting.

Who makes a turbo kit for these CTS-Vs....? But Bolt-On kit maybe?
What intake goes in place of the factory sc'er?

Calvo Motorsports make a kit.

Im not sure if your on facebook, but Blaise Cowan is wanting to sell his turbo kit too.

I think people run the LS6 intake when going turbo.

Ok, thanks, I'll start looking into all this. I'd like 1,000 RWHP with a turbo and a built/modded transmission.
