I like to keep it in the low 12's for a blower car. 13.25:1 for NA.

yeah, ill agree with that. your willing to go a little leaner than me, but really close.

what did you mean by LS6 motor though? i said 13.1, and you said "I hope you mean on the LS6 car...". i still dont get your point...we are talking about a CTS-V.......so?

I have never used Jesse, but have only heard very good things about him and the level of customer service he delivers. Also been told by other tuners that he knows his trade very, very well. I would definitely use him if not for my current tuner.

The final point is that I have an 09 with a blown LSA. We were talking about Jesse's tunes and you really didn't specify that you were tuning for an NA motor, the LS6. I see that you have an LS6 V and a Camaro in your avatar that has a blower so I wanted to be sure.

11.5-11.8 for safe A/f with blower is needed. That is what i target when on the dyno.

With no blower, 12.5 to 12.8 depending on the car/mods/ use of vehicle.

On some particular days I've left a very narrow margin and run my best passes and MPH up at 13.2:1. The plugs have a little tint of brown on them and are not yet turning white. Old trick but a useful tool if done correctly, even with FI. With no KR and temps staying normal I feel this is still certainly the upper limit. I don't leave it there for street driving because it's not necessary.

BTW, got my tuner last night Jesse. The car flies. After it took a nap last night and got a good cool down I could I noticed sizable gains this morning. The sport bike next to me on the freeway got his *** kicked from 75-120. It looked like and R6 but it's hard to tell when they disappear in the mirror so fast. He downshifted twice and we both hit it at the same time. V 1, bike 0.

^^^Bam, that's what I am talking about, beating a bike with a car puts you in an Elite Field. Much better reading than hearing some punk bragging about beating a ricer with a fart can and neon kit. I have yet to go up against a bike up to 135mph, but if I do, all of you will hear about it!

I've done it a couple times in different cars and it's always awesome. They have no concept of how a car could destroy them in any aspect of performance and when you hand them their ***, it's just precious.

Sounds like you have some pent up demand to waste a 2 wheeler. Go get a kill man!!!

Loooolllllooollllll

I'm sorry?

Again, another nice crisp 60ish degree morning with a lot of throttle response. It was a fun drive to work.
