youd prolly be better off looking into all of the equpiment used on the XLR-V. might find it as an easier swap with less customization. anything can be done it all depends on time and budget.

Both the XLR and the XLR-V have a northstar power plant. I would assume that parts from neither would let you swap an LS into the vehicle. However, all it is is a Corvette with caddy clothes on. I would assume that you could use Corvette parts to swap to an LS power plant

dude, just swap it to the XLR-V motor or supercharger.. i was coming back from a bike night and ran into one on the highway on my bike..(a blk convertible) i ride a 07 zx10 for a street bike that dyno'd at 187 to the wheel...that thing hung with me all the way to 150 before i blew by...granted he came flying by me before i knew what it was,and i had to drop 2 gears to catch him but man is that thing fast on the highway..made me wanta go get my V..lol

i know this prolly dont help but figured id share...blk convertible looks pretty nasty at 150

I just saw something in a magazine about the XLR....

I'm pretty sure they are keeping it.

How much difference between the C6 and the C5 chasis? I was under the understanding that the C6 is really a c5.5, very minor if any changes to the main structural components.

If you decide to take a pass on this one, I might be interested (price dependent, of course) if you wouldn't mind sharing the info.

I would Imagine buying a wrecked C6 would give you most of what you need and would allow you to recoup cost by parting out the C6 parts not used. Wiring may be a pita, but car is setup for the intake and i can imagine mounts being too hard. Engine bay is a little narrow, may require fab of custom headers?
