Looks good. But again...do your diligence on these cars and consider if you want to buy without a warranty.

That said.....buy mine!

Working on your own car does not equal replacing a rear diff, radiator, NAV unti, .... I work on my own cars too, but I couldn't imagine driving this car with the fear of that diff going out without a warranty.

i agree.. im a mechanic and in just parts alone on this car..not including the aftermarket im in the thousands.. shocks,bushings,radiator/hoses,rotors/pads,gaskets/seals,fluids, plugs/wires..it all added up..not to mention all the after market and the soon to have axles...if those dont solve the hop issue im selling this car! and i still cant find what the hell is causing the wheel to hop when reversing...i pull the entire front suspension out and personally checked every bushing and balljoint,etc..all good..

You seem to have gotten a particularly poorly cared for or high mileage vehicle.

Sounds like a typical service history to me.

lol...doc hit it on the head..every problem i have everybody else has.. my car had 50k on it and outside of the brakes needing replacement the car was super clean when i bought it..and slowly but surely the gremlins came and have been kicking my *** since.

when i buy anything i give it a tune up and change every fluid and filter in it.the struts were good but the rubber mounts at the bottom had torn from the shock body.the radiator leaked at the left side corner..the water pump seal went...and while i was there i changed the hoses...why the hell not, right.

im bitching alot, but im frustrated that i spent a lot of dough on a car im ALWAYS working on.

and Skullv...reading your posts..seems like your car is at the dealer an awful lot too.

I get well taken care of at the dealer so I take my car in for everything since its under warranty. Get a loaner everytime and even with a complete NAV replacement and diff replacement, it was done next day. Sucks to hear people complain about the cars, but everything i read before I bought was dead on. Thats why i spent a little more for a car with a warranty and was certified fromt he dealer. If its such a hassle, sell your cars if you dont find them enjoyable pretty plain and simple to me.

I couldn't be happier with my '05, and knowing I have that warranty behind me, let's me enjoy the car with no regrets. The only other car I could imagine getting into other than a V1 is a V2.

This is true, but it's usually because I can convince my local dealer that things are wrong when they aren't necessarily wrong, and they are always happy to install aftermarket parts under warranty.

Only things that ever go truely wrong are the diff and radio. But I contribute most of that to the fact that I drive my car like I stole it.

Nav buttons, Radiator and Sail panel. Had the car for 5 years and 42,000 miles and that is the extent of my repairs.

Search the Cadillac dealerships....that's where you can add the warranty for $1000. Other used lots can not. Good luck!

Edit: I had to travel about 6 hours out of state to find mine.
