How did I do? Just picked up a V...
Greetings! Just registered...
So I've been anxiously looking at CTS-V's for about a year and I finally picked one up this past Saturday...
$25K for a 2004 CTS-V..
Now I know that's alot for a 2004 BUT, I picked it up with 7900 miles on it. (Clean carfax...clean car)
It still smells brand new!
I payed high retail for it, but based on my searches I can't find a CTS-V with that amount of miles for any less..
What do you think?
I'm pretty stoked on it...it's not as fast as my Ford Taurus, but it'll get there I'm sure
Looking forward to keeping this car for a long time and learning a lot from this board.
Thanks!

Congrats looks clean as hell but i have 3 suggestions
-get 06/07 center caps
-lower it
-and do the fog lights have condensation in them?
Is there any warranty left on the car?
Has it eve had the rear replaced?
That is on the high side but the mileage is awesome. Hope it has some kind of warranty with it though.

I find that hard to do myself, but there's ppl out there that just make the cars garage queens and only come out on weekends. I still find it hard that alot of guys have 02 Limited Edition Camaro's with less then 10K miles on them.

Very nice, and if you are going for the black centercaps, consider buying some black lugs, get ones that lock, as lots o' haterz out there. Any mods come with it?

Thanks guys!!! I really am loving every moment of being in or around the car
As for the Taurus...I have a supercharged 90 SHO as well, 400whp...fun car. Yay for overpowered sedans!!
As for the car - It has no mods, I'm not in a hurry to lower it...all in good time.
Need some black center caps/lugs, smoked sidemarkers, get rid of the amber lights, smoke the taillights a bit....then some exhaust
A few things: no Navi DVD...whats a new one $150+??...., I TRIED to take it easy and with about 35% freeway driving got 14mpg...I assume thats about normal?...The fuel gauge is very innacurate too. Should I worry about the rear diff this early? I wanted to get an 06 for this very reason....but we'll see

I just got mine a little while ago as well, like the wheels, are they painted or powder coated?
Check for sale section, there's someone selling dvd's for about $50.
I do quite a bit better on mpg on the highway than 14. But each tank seems to average out to about 16mpg (50/50 city/hwy).
