Default Argh... can anybody loan me a pair of wheels/tires??

Well, Discount Tire scarred up my wheels pretty badly while rotating the rear tires . They are going to send them out for re-finishing... but it'll take 4 days and that means the 'V will be out of commission. I argued with them for 30 minutes about getting me a set of loaner wheels/tires, but got no-where with that.

Anyways, now I have to figure out my best options... so far I've got:

1. Car rental
2. Local "rent-to-own" wheel place
3. Bicycle with the baby seat.

Why isn't Discount picking up the cost of a loaner? They're the one's who f'd up your rims.

I argued that point for at least 20 minutes... I got nowhere.

FYI to anyone out there, I'll be in DFW this weekend. I'm desperate and can meet you pretty much anywhere!

One of the benefits of going to Discount Tire... it's like getting your oil at a dollar store...

Is this a local shop that did this to you? I was thinking internet website, but if you took your car to a local shop just to rotate tires and they did that, maybe they should give you something ...

Call a District Manager or the Home Office, if you car is rendered iinoperable due to a faulty service visit, they have to pay for your rental.
Good luck, I have four tires, but am in SoFlo.
