The vette guys had some group deals going on for those and everyone seems to like the tire.

The downside to going with that setup on the rear is that it is .55" shorter than the front. Right now my rears are .6" shorter than the front and the traction control kicks on for anything over 80mph. I've got to drive on the interstate with my tcs off. Its no big deal, but my next set will match closer (or make the adjustment in the computer).

EDIT: a 275/40/18 rear would match up better height wise to the front and keep the computer happy if you dont want to adjust the tire size in the computer.

I got my rear stock silver rims widened to 10 3/8" I should be able to run the 295's with maybe a little work on the stab. bar..3/16" more clearance..The 315's i bought don't even come close...but i was concerened with the front load rating of 93.....The fronts have two choices 245/40/18 93w at 25.75dia. and 255/40/18 99w at 25.98dia... i think the 255's should fit.. The 295/35/18 for the rears are 26.02 dia. at99w.Anyway here i a link to the Nitto Invo sizes, i hope it will open..Anyway, fleabay does have a good price on the 245/40/18 93w and a little over .25" less in dia.. this i think would be the best cost effective combo
Any input would be appreciated...thanks GREG O.

ps: for the 1/2" difference all around effect the computer???

Yup. If the rears are a little taller, then the stability control freaks out, if the rears are shorter, the traction control goes nuts. Mine are 0.6" shorter and I have to drive the interstates with the tcs off.

i run 245/40 in the fronts and 295/35/18's in the rear with no problems. And the rears are 9.5 wide.

But if anyone knows of a pair that can be bought at a good price please send them my way.

Thanks,

Sorry to hijack you....
